ABOUT FHL

Faculty of Humanities and Law (FHL) started at Islamic Azad University, Khorasgan Branch, first in 1987, by establishing an undergraduate program; namely, Law. The faculty officially obtained the necessary authorization in 2008 from IAU under the supervision of Dr. Ali Radan Jebeli, one of the faculty members of Law. In 2011, Dr. Seyyed Hossein Vaezi, a faculty member of Theology was elected as the dean of the faculty. At the present time, there are five working departments offering twelve programs to more than 2400 students studying different majors at graduate and undergraduate levels. Some of FHL alumni have gained excellent achievements; many of them are now faculty members of accredited universities or practicing as well-known judges or lawyers.

Department of Economics Offers:

Department of Islamic Teachings and Theology Offers:

·        One MA Program in Islamic Teachings and Theology

·        General Courses in Islamic Teachings to all IAUKB Students

Department of Law Offers:

·        One BA Program in Law

·        One MA Program in Criminal Law

·        One MA Program in Private Law

 

Department of Persian Literature Offers:

·        General Courses in Persian Literature to all the students of IAUKB

 

The faculty offices and classrooms reside in the two-story Building of Faculty of Humanities and Law. At the present time, 42 faculty members including three professors, three associate professors, 17 assistant professors, nine PhD candidates, and 10 instructors teach at Faculty of Humanities and Law. The faculty is equipped with computer sites, and libraries. FHL offers General Persian Literature and Islamic Theology and general courses to more than 13000 students of other faculties. More than 2416 students are studying different majors at different levels.
