The FNM Academic Association for Nursing and Midwifery Students was established as an NGO at IAUKB in 2003 by a group of talented students. Later, in 2012 the association was divided into two separate bodies each functioning for one of the departments. At the present time, they are known as FNM Academic Association for Nursing Students, and FNM Academic Association for Midwifery Students. The associations aim at developing students’ research activities, promoting their interest and contribution to research studies, employing their academic capacities, encouraging cooperation among students at IAUKB, and creating connections with other research centers such as Young Researchers’ Club.
